PAPER SEEDS Seeds of ART and THOUGHT

Come on in... relax, kick off your shoes, and get cozy for a few minutes. I intend this space to be a happy and encouraging spot in your day where perhaps you'll sign off feeling better than you did when you signed on.

I have so much in life that I want to create, experience, and wrap my head around, and I bet you do too. I dedicate this space as a safe place to "grow" our seeds... Seeds of movement to increase our joy, inspiration, and insight - Seeds of change and evolution of our souls - Seeds of of celebration and creativity - a place where we thrive to live lives we're proud of.

How cool is it that we are given the opportunity to create a future that doesn't exist yet. That we have the choice in creating our lives and planting seeds that will grow into our dreams. I want to learn more everyday about how to do this in my life, and I would love for you to join me.

Photo Walk on a Sunday Afternoon

Easy like Sunday morning... well, Sunday afternoon actually.  That's what today's walk around our neighborhood was... easy and nice.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day here in Summerville, SC, so my son and I took advantage of it and went on a "photo walk" around our new neighborhood to see what we could get into.

Recently, Ryan has shown interest in photography, so the two of us, together with one camera, snapped and clicked a ton of pictures.  Some we thought beautiful, some I thought "telling" about life... some we liked the angles and colors of, some we had so much fun editing by cropping and coloring  and turning upside down.

Ryan teaches me almost daily to be aware of the little things.  So today we did just that.  We took pictures of images I've driven by or walked by many times but never really have taken the time to "see."

The images may not mean as much to you as they do to me, but I'm sharing them with you because a photo walk is a great way to remind us to be aware.  It's free, it's fun, and it gets those creative juices flowing!  And you just can't mess it up!

A reflection from the lake...  Ryan's idea!

I hope your week is mucho wonderful and that you take some time to be "creatively aware."

Thanks for visiting,

Stacey

  2. Very nice. Alex also has a creative eye. My parent bought him a nice camera for Christmas last year. It is amazing to "see" what he sees through his lens, it is a treasure. Love your tinting techniques too.
