PAPER SEEDS Seeds of ART and THOUGHT

Come on in... relax, kick off your shoes, and get cozy for a few minutes. I intend this space to be a happy and encouraging spot in your day where perhaps you'll sign off feeling better than you did when you signed on.

I have so much in life that I want to create, experience, and wrap my head around, and I bet you do too. I dedicate this space as a safe place to "grow" our seeds... Seeds of movement to increase our joy, inspiration, and insight - Seeds of change and evolution of our souls - Seeds of of celebration and creativity - a place where we thrive to live lives we're proud of.

How cool is it that we are given the opportunity to create a future that doesn't exist yet. That we have the choice in creating our lives and planting seeds that will grow into our dreams. I want to learn more everyday about how to do this in my life, and I would love for you to join me.

November is Bizz Buzzing with Activity!

"Grow" - with hand-rolled paper flowers
Happy November!  This month is buzzing with activity and is so full of fun stuff.  I'd love to show you what I've been working on lately and tell you a bit about an exciting show coming up!

The Etsy Holiday Show
Held at the Music Farm, in downtown Charleston this Saturday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., this event is delightfully packed with local Etsy vendors selling their wares and having a lot of fun... well, at least my friend, Laura, and I had a ton of fun at last year's event.  Check out Laura's blog here to see what the show is all about, and see what adventures the two of us had!  Also, be sure to check out her beautiful creations while you're on her site!

This show is a wonderful way to support local artisans!  And I have to say that the quality of the workmanship of the Etsy vendors is really quite impressive.  You'll walk away feeling good that you supported local artists AND perhaps get some Christmas shopping done - or at least bring home some wonderful holiday ideas to try for yourself.

Here are a few items I've been working on to bring to the show...

Here is a set of four bird silhouettes.  I tore out pages of an old book, painted each page a different color and smeared pastels over each one to give a little more depth.  Then I placed the bird silhouettes on top!

I'm making some fun holiday ornaments to hang on your tree or anywhere in your home to brighten spirits!  This is a  3-D cardboard heart that I painted and decorated with paper.  Then I added varnish for protection and shine.

These are smaller versions of my kissing balls... perfect to hang in a corner, over a doorway, or on your tree!

Here is a cute birdie ornament with two sides... one side....

and the other side...

Birds, birds, and more birds... this is a cardboard shaped bird.
I glued hand-torn paper and added a rhinestone eye -
then punched a hole and added a sweet ribbon.

and another...

I'll be selling boxed sets of stationary printed from my original artwork.
Moon Swirl

Dream Trees

Of course I'll also be selling some artwork, my decoupaged bottles and hearts, wish flowers, beautiful hand-rolled flower magnets, and much more! If you stop by my booth and mention my blog, I'll give you a 20% discount on your purchase!

Next week, I'll let you know how it turns out and also tell you more about my Exhibit at Park Circle in North Charleston!  Have a wonderful, crisp, and active week!

I appreciate your visit!
